Live like an artist in cool Kwun Tong

Our spacious (to Hong Kong standards 🙂 studio loft is located in the up and coming Kwun Tong arts district. This former warehouse area is now packed with hidden studio spaces, restaurants, music venues,… Still it also oozes plenty of local charm and has all the shopping you need. It’s not right on the tourist trail, but a 15min ferry or subway ride gets you to either central Kowloon or HK Island in no time. Ideal for solo travellers and couples who want to discover the real and cool HK!

The space
Our studio is located in a former industrial warehouse that has now been turned into offices and studios. Needless to say, it is not the most conventional space as it is a converted office, but it has all what you need and is recently refurnished. There is a small bathroom with a shower and toilet and a kitchen corner (with an induction hob and fridge) for basic cooking. As our building is so central in Kwun Tong as it is in the heart of the new Kwun Tong CBD it has also attracted quite a few restaurants and shops. So no need to even dress up to go out for dinner as at least 3 of Kwun Tong’s most famous restaurants/cafe’s are in our building (just take the elevator :). Also for clothes and design shopping, yoga or even singing classes you don’t even have to leave the building. At sunset we recommend our guests to also walk up two floors to the rooftop, offering a marvellous view over Kwun Tong. Take a chair, a bottle of wine and you have the most iddilic HK apero you can imagine.

Guest access
Full apartment, so you have your own shower/toilet and small kitchen. Self check-in is possible but not after 10pm.

Other things to note
This is a lively neighborhood (as most of Hong Kong honestly), so definitely during daytime it can be a bit noisy. At night things usually calm down (aside from maybe every once in a while a bit of music from some musicians on our floor) and by the time it’s midnight things get quiet and peaceful. For light sleepers we do provide earplugs.
