The apartment has the most lovely atmosphere and is located in one of the most authentic buildings from the “old” Copenhagen filled with charm and good energy. It has one large bedroom with an amazing king size bed and plenty of space for clothes and enough space to pull out a yoga mat in the morning or to read a book in a cozy armchair. It has a fully equipped, ready to use kitchen with everything you could possibly need, and a good size bathroom with a great shower and new toilet and sink.

Christianshavn is truly such a special part of Copenhagen, It has everything you could wish for. For much of the 20th century a working-class neighborhood, Christianshavn developed a bohemian reputation in the 1970s and it is now a fashionable, diverse and lively part of the city with its own distinctive personality. Businessmen, students, artists, hippies and traditional families with children live side-by-side. The apartement is situated between Christianshavns Vold (a green area with running + walking routes, tables and benches surrounding a lake, a playground and sports facilities such as basketball and soccer) and the beautiful canals of Christianshavn and the clean ocean that is ready to enjoy from afar or ready for you to jump in, whatever suits you best. It is also 3 minutes from the grocery stores and Christianshavns Torv with lots of Café’s, bars, restaurants, metro station, bus station and fun activities right around you. The apartement is 10 minutes walking distance from the famous part of Christianshavn known as “Christiania”, a small hippie town within the city that have their own set of rules and democracy, filled with artists and creative and fun activities as well. Christianshavn is connected to the other parts of Copenhagen with 4 bridges that immediately takes you to Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv (center of Copenhagen), Vesterbro (meatpacking district), Rådhuspladsen (City square and Tivoli Gardens), and Christiansborg (The parliament building). It truly is the best part of Copenhagen.

Other things to note
Christianshavns metro station is 3 minutes walking distance from the apartement and that can bring you to any part of Copenhagen in less than 10 minutes. It is also less than 15 minutes from Copenhagen airport which makes traveling with luggage very convenient. Right next to the metro station are lots of busses that also drive around the city depending on your needs. There are also the water busses that go along the water if you feel like exploring some of the hip outer parts of Copenhagen. It is definitely a biking city and almost everyone in Copenhagen owns a bike, it is possible to rent bikes upon arrival and every part of the city is near the apartment on bikes as well.
